NXP förlorade - publiceringen godkänd
Friday, July 25th, 2008För ett tag sedan skrev jag att kretsföretaget NXP stämt ett antal forskare i ett försök att stoppa publiceringen av svagheter i MiFare. Domstolen har kommit med sitt beslut, och NXP fick på pälsen.
Jag tycker att domstolen i sitt beslut sammanfattade situationen elegant: Damage to NXP is not the result of the publication of the article but of the production and sale of a chip that appears to have shortcomings.
